報告摘要：What is the hardest course you have taken? Is it the electromagnetic field and wave? If yes, you are not the only one think so. In this talk, there is an overview of Maxwell’s equations, one of greatest equations. Computational electromagnetics is a research area to solve Maxwell’s equations numerically, in both frequency and time domains. It has applications in many areas such as electromagnetic modeling and simulations of wave propagation and scattering, radar cross section and antenna design, semiconductor devices and RF components, etc. Fast and efficient algorithms such as fast multipole method and FFT-like methods have been developed and can solve large problems on a small computer. Finally, the advantages of fast algorithms with lower complexity and numerical results will be presented.
